For Reviewers
The Faculty of Law Journal at AE-FUNAI relies on the dedication and expertise of its peer reviewers to uphold the quality and integrity of the scholarly works we publish. Reviewers play a vital role in evaluating submissions, offering constructive feedback, and contributing to the development of legal scholarship both locally and globally.
🎯 Reviewer Guidelines
We invite qualified legal scholars and professionals with demonstrated expertise in specific areas of law to join our pool of reviewers. The review process is double-blind, and reviewers are expected to provide objective, timely, and scholarly evaluations of submitted manuscripts.
Expectations:
- Thorough Assessment: Evaluate submissions for originality, academic rigor, relevance, methodology, clarity, and contribution to legal discourse.
- Constructive Feedback: Provide respectful, actionable feedback that guides authors in strengthening their work.
- Timeliness: Reviews are expected to be completed within 2–4 weeks from the date of assignment.
- Confidentiality: All submitted materials must be treated as confidential and must not be shared or discussed with others.
Reviewers should consider the following questions:
- Does the manuscript address a significant legal issue?
- Is the argument well-structured and supported by appropriate legal sources?
- Are the references current and relevant?
- Is the manuscript well written and professionally presented?

All manuscripts under review are confidential documents. Reviewers must not:

- Reveal their identity or attempt to determine the author’s identity during the review.
Breaches of confidentiality will result in removal from the reviewer database and notification to relevant institutions where necessary.
⚖️ Conflict of Interest
Reviewers must disclose any potential conflict of interest that might compromise their impartiality or objectivity, such as:
